We've all been there. Not necessarily with a french horn. Regardless, I'm speaking of the AWKWARD STAGE. Longer for some, and for an unfortunate few indefinitely present. So lets here it... your best "awkward look" or "phase" you went... or are still coping with.

yikes. Where's the awkwark pic of you?? I know you have a scanner somewhere in the house. Lets have it. Me, my lips are sealed...although I will say, I was a fan of the big eye glasses too. I had blue plastic, back when wire was the cool way to go. Wire frames WERE cool, right?
hmmmm. sure? i'm not sure. probably, i think we do have a scanner... I'll find some... I defnitely rocked the turtle necks and christmas jumpers until I was like 16. yikes... i'll get on that
I know the 80s are back and all, but really that is me at my awkward best...although sometimes I wonder if it just hasn't stuck all these years. One day I will be cool. I will just keep watching you Bek!

Oh man- clay & i were just talking about this terrible issue . . . the awkward years! one of my main problems was BANGS- really thick ones, hanging over EYEBROWS- really thick ones! Also, I kinda wish someone had told me to where a little make-up a little earlier!
All I have to say is...the colorful vests with the turtlenecks...oh yes...and Bek...I just want to remind you of a trip we took to the Painted Lady for Kim's birthday...and the clothes we all wore...awkward!
Let's just say...semi-yellow teeth hiding behind braces (now whitened, of course), unibrow, smurf glasses, a-bit-too-short pants (red cordoroy pants, mind you), patterned turtlenecks, white hip-hugger jeans with interchangeable sequined belts, green sweater vests...um, yeah ~ been there, done that!! gross and AWKWARD!!! ;)
Oh my! I had a nightmare the other night that I was wearing pink jeans from my "awkward years" and had to go out in public. Glory! glad that was only a dream!

Wow! Lizzy sure nailed that one on the head... patterned turtlenecks! Also, sometime in the mid-90's I rocked one of those bright silk blouses, tucked into green jeans! Oh yeah, and a matching purple cowboy hat. Oh my gosh... I don't think it was EVER cool?!? I second Katy with the bushy eyebrows. Then one day I over-plucked them, so that was pretty awkward too!!!
Also... the matching Christmas jumpers were a big one. At least you weren't 16 and pudgy sis!
i'm still working on a picture... because i know i had one. but i used to have this green like button up one piece kinda cotton blanket sleeper thing but for the day time... like a big kid onesie... thinking back it was super comfortable but i was like 15 when i was wearing it... man
